Brief Profile of Bongo Gewog Bongo Gewog is located 12 Kms away from Thimphu-Phuntsholing national highway, connected by feeder road. The Gewog consist of six chiwogs, namely (Toktogom-Toktowogm, Chungkha-Chasilakha, Gedu-Miritsemo,Ketokha-Damji, Bongo-Phatsuma, Bayuelkuenzang-Gedaphu) making up to 22 villages, namely (Toktogom, Toktowogm, Chungkha, Chasilakha, Jumjaa, Gedu, Boeri, Alaykha, Tashigang, Rebana, Pakshikha, Miritsemo, Arikha, Shingchekha, Damji, Ketokha, Junglay, Bongo, Phatsuma, Zamsa, Bayuelkuenzang, and Gedaphu).
The Gewog consists of 728 households with total population of 6711. From the above villages, almost all the villages are connected by farm road, except Toktogom and Bayuelkuenza.
